Development of my skills in VR

NY pole copy.png

This piece is based on Martin Cibik's February trip to New York.
During the trip,
he collected a vast amount of digital material: photographs, videos, 3D scans, audio recordings,
360-degree and 180-degree stereoscopic images and video,
totalling over 46GB.
A small number of 3D models from open-source libraries were also incorporated.
The result is an app for a standalone VR headset, featuring an interactive environment built from this material.
This piece was supported using public funding by Arts Council England,
with technical support from MBD Leicester,
particularly Ant.
